Introduction to ISO 3834

ISO3834 series standards describe the welding quality requirements that should be included in the welding quality assurance system according to the quality assurance principles of ISO9000 series standards and the actual application conditions of welding.
 
ISO 3834 specifies the quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials. These quality requirements contained in this international standard may be applicable to other welding methods. These quality requirements only cover those aspects of product quality that are affected by fusion welding, and are not limited by product types.
 
ISO 3834 is a welding system certification, which provides a method for manufacturers to demonstrate their ability to manufacture products of specific quality.
