Introduction to EN 15085

EN15085 is a set of welding certification system for rail vehicles and vehicle components, which is widely popular in the transportation and rail industry. Standard name: Railway applications-Welding of railway vehicles and components.
 
The EN15085 series of standards have been officially implemented in Germany since April 2008. This standard is a certification system for the welding of rail transit and vehicle components. This standard has gradually replaced the original German DIN6700 series standards. With the development of China's rail transit industry, the export products of China's rail business-related enterprises are increasing. The certification of such standard system is a necessary condition for China's rail vehicle and vehicle parts enterprises to export to EU countries.
